Suki is the Managing Director and founder of Russell Group, which provides risk management software and services to the global specialty (re)insurance industry. Russell Group entered the industry during the long-tail risk crisis in 1996 when Lloyd’s engaged Russell Group to model the Lloyd’s market exposure to long-tail liability claims, originating from the asbestos, health hazard and pollution (aph) claims, and which led to the formation of Equitas.
Before founding Russell Group, Suki spent time in Silicon Valley in the early 90s, working for Oracle, focusing on the defence, energy, finance and healthcare sectors.
Under Suki’s leadership, Russell Group has become a leading risk management player in the (re)insurance market, where its ALPS products are being used by underwriters in the aviation, casualty, energy, marine and space sectors to manage exposures, gain deeper business intelligence and achieve superior return on equity.
Mark has been with Russell Group since 2007 and is responsible for the Russell's finance, legal and operational activities.
Previously Mark worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for 20 years, advising a wide range of owner-managed and PLC clients across many sectors, specialising in tax and corporate transactions. Mark also has wide experience as a company director in both IT and manufacturing companies. Mark has a law degree from the University of Nottingham and after graduating qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991.
